Create an ask listing

Creates a new ask (instant sell) listing for a product. The listing is created with status pending and type ask.

Vacation mode returns 201 and creates nothing. If your account is in vacation mode the response is 201 with body {"status":"user is in vacation mode"} and no order_id. Do not treat a 201 as "listed" — branch on the presence of order_id.

Prices below the floor are clamped, not rejected. A price under 50 is silently stored as 50; you get a 201 and a live listing at a price you did not send. Validate your own prices before calling. price is required — a missing or non-numeric price is not rejected and produces an unusable listing, so always send a number.

Each call creates a new listing. Retrying a call that timed out creates a second listing, not the same one.
